Autoline Consignment Program
The Autoline Consignment Program is designed to give our customers an alternative to the traditional dealership trade-in.
How it Works
An Autoline Representative works with you to inspect your car, determine its trade-in value, and identify any work or reconditioning that could be done to help sell the car. Together we determine a value higher than the trade in value so you the customer can benefit from this program and get the most for your vehicle.
What Happens Next
Autoline collects a $300 consignment fee up front to cover the cost of a full mechanical & safety inspection*, complete detail (inside and out) and subsequent advertising (including: Autotrader, Cars.com, Craigslist, and many more). From this point on, your Autoline Representative acts as the Project Manager for your vehicle; making sure the car is reconditioned, prepped and advertised thoroughly.
The Autoline Team is available to show your car 6-days a week so you don't have to cancel your weekend plans, invite strangers to your home, or have to deal with any sketchy craigslist parking lot deals. We keep you posted regarding customer feedback and provide recommendations every step of the way.
Ultimately when the car sells we pay you the agreed upon figure and we will keep any profit above that number.
It sounds simple because it is simple...ask you Autoline Representative for more details or fill out our Consignment Request Form and we'll get back to you with some estimated pricing and next steps.
For our clients who are carrying negative equity in their current vehicle or for those who need to liquidate their current car as part of their new car acquisition, Autoline does offer a trade-in option (link to Trade-in Page). Feel free to call us for more details. 904-242-8000
* Autoline's $300 consignment fee covers the cost of the initial safety and mechanical inspection of your vehicle. Any issues or repairs recommended by the mechanic will be discussed with seller prior to approval. The costs of those repairs are paid in advance. Similarly, any significant reconditioning work (bumper repair, curb rash on wheels, door dings/dents, etc.) will also be discussed with the seller, approved in advance, and ultimately paid up front.
